Yup … if you already have calculated the dimensions and know how to set-up your software to those dimensions, you don’t need these templates.

Just a thought. If we work out a dimensions for ie width - bleed+back+spin e+front+bleed, and same for the height, all we need to do is create a blank page based on those dimensions - thus a template is not really required - Is this correct? ;-)

This is great. Important to watch How to Video first, for me anyway. And no point starting the layout of your template until you have spine width. Once I have decided on my spine width I am gunna have me some fun, thanks for the template.

Michelle … MS Word is not a layout program. You’ll find it difficult just to set the dimensions in Word, not to mention you’ll never get a professional looking cover even if you get things set-up OK. There are many free and inexpensive programs that will do a better job for you. GIMP is free and Adobe offers 30 day free trails on programs like Photoshop.

Joseph, this is the only cover template we have out now. We're working on some more both free and paid templates to be released in the future.
